GAME SHOOTING
Catton Estate is situated on the borders of Derbyshire
and Staffordshire in the Midlands UK. A private home with luxury
accommodation, Catton hosts corporate and private game and simulated
shooting parties, business meetings, corporate hospitality, product
launches and large outdoor events.
Shooting Parties have been coming to Catton for
many years, and enjoyed excellent sport on the 2000 acres of rolling
countryside surrounding the Hall. The Estate is well laid out for
driven and rough game shooting, and there are records dating back
to 1905 showing the sport and final bags achieved.
The French Partridge season begins mid-September
for six weeks until the end of October.
Mixed Pheasant and Partridge days are organised
from the end of October until the end of January.
Bags from 50 - 350 can be organised.
Double/back-to-back days either at Catton or on
a neighbouring estate can be arranged.
We specialise in being able to provide accommodation
for 8 Guns with partners in superb style.
Accommodation
Alternative activities including local historical
tours can be arranged for non- shooting partners
ALTERNATIVE SHOOTING
Simulated Game Shooting can also be organised
either for corporate guests or for private parties. The day follows
exactly the same formula as a Game Shooting day. Guests arrive for
coffee in the House and an explanation of the day's sport ahead.
Loaders are allocated to each gun - Instructors can also be provided.
Pheasant, Duck and Partridge drives are organised on similar drives
to the Game Shooting and all traps are kept out of sight throughout
the day. Lunch and Tea are taken in the Hall. Even the Catton Labradors
join in!
