Catton Hall is
a private home in Derbyshire with luxury accommodation for
business meetings, corporate hospitality, game shooting and
golf or art history tour groups.
Ever since the present Hall was built for
ancestors of the Neilson family in 1745, guests have been
welcomed to this warm, elegant and comfortable home.
Whether arranging a private celebration,
hosting a small and intimate corporate event, seeking accommodation
whilst exhibiting at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham,
or visiting the UK with a tour group, you will find Catton
is the ideal, centrally located, private home venue.
The three main Reception Rooms have open
fires, fine antique furniture, and a fascinating collection
of Royal and family portraits. The adaptable dining room seats
10 - 50 guests and our experienced kitchens provide long-forgotten
full english breakfasts, sophisticated four-course dinners,
delicious light lunches or finger buffets - even home baked
biscuits and cakes at tea-time.
Upstairs, groups of 6 - 16 can be accommodated
in the three four-poster bedrooms and five twin-bedded rooms,
all with their own bath/shower rooms.
Robin and Katie Neilson, your hosts, will
be delighted to show you round their home, its gardens and
private chapel. They will discuss menus and wines before your
visit, and can organise tennis, golf, horse-riding, game shooting,
clay shooting, fishing and 4 x 4 off-road driving, all available
at Catton.
Golf Clubs nearby
include The Belfry, and tours can be arranged to numerous
local Historic Houses and Gardens, the Potteries, Birmingham
and Stratford upon Avon.
