Catton provides excellent driven and rough shooting on acres of rolling countryside
Catton Hall Main Content
Shooting parties have been coming to Catton for over 30 years and enjoying excellent sport on 2500 acres of rolling countryside surrounding the Hall. The Estate is well laid out for driven and rough shooting and there are records dating back to 1905 showing the sport and final bags achieved.
The Partridge season begins mid-September until the end of October. Mixed days of pheasant and partridge are organised from November until the end of January and bags of between 50-350 birds can be arranged. For the larger days, lunch is included together with mid-morning refreshment, and for the smaller days we can provide the Servants Hall in the basement of the House, with an open fire ,where you and your team can enjoy your own lunch.
We offer Dinner and Accommodation for shooting parties and, for any non-shooting guests, we can arrange alternative activities – e.g.tours of Lichfield City, the National Memorial Arboretum, The Potteries etc.
